Easy Back to School Shots with Walgreens Get a Shot Give a Shot Program

Easy back to school shots with Walgreens Get a Shot Give a Shot program is a sponsored post for #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. I am sharing my shopping and shot experience below. All opinions are my own. See my disclosure policy for more information.

My daughter and I are about to venture into our last year of our favorite Mother’s Day Out program. I am sure my little one will miss sleeping in, playing with toys all day long, and pool time, but personally I am very excited. Whether or not you have a toddler in a Mother’s Day Out program or a child kindergarten age +, back-to-school shots are important for all ages.

My daughter and I decided to visit Walgreens this year for a new backpack and more information on the Get a Shot Give a Shot program. I may have told her that if she decided to get a shot she could also share a shot with another child in need and get ANY backpack she wanted. She is only four and may be only thinking of her new prize, but it is never too early to try to teach her the importance of helping others.

Once we get to Walgreens there is no stopping her. Straight to the school supplies she drags me focused on her new trend setting school accessory. We find a winner with a mesh purple bag. One for her and one for mommy. I mean why not they are buy one get one free. We also pick up a few needed school supplies. Now that we have picked up her prize it’s time to get down to business. We head to the pharmacy and notice there is no one waiting. Quick and easy immunizations just like we like it.

My mother joined us on our quest for back-to-school supplies and decided to get her vaccines in support of our little one and another children in need. You can see them above brave and all smiles.
